I’M CHARLENE, A SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER, STRATEGIST AND THE FOUNDER OF CHARLENE JEAN CREATIVE.
I help businesses attract the clients they’ve always dreamed of by crafting personalized strategies and systems that enhance engagement and generate leads. This way, they can focus on the parts of their business that truly ignite their passion.
My Story
I’ve always been driven by my desire for entrepreneurship and creativity. Since childhood, I’ve expressed myself as an artist- crafting stories, poems, and visual art. Early on, I realized I wanted to run my own business. I still recall visiting an entrepreneur in her home office, living the dream in a tropical paradise. From that moment, I set my sights on establishing a creative business from my own home studio in a place I loved.
Where it began
In 2012, I started managing my first business page for my business as a freelance makeup artist. This is where my passion began for social media marketing. In the early days of FB business pages, I learned a lot about marketing yourself online.
My education and experience
A few years later, I decided to return to school to earn my bachelor’s degree in communications and dive into the world of social media marketing. Before that, I spent several years working in hospitality, tourism, and beauty. Now, not only do I market these vibrant industries, but I’ve also walked in my clients’ shoes, which helps me truly understand the ins and outs of their world.
Once I graduated from university, I transitioned into the role of a digital and social media marketing specialist. In this position, I had the pleasure of managing the marketing channels for small businesses, spanning from digital platforms to social media. Together, we worked on boosting their brand awareness, enhancing engagement, and generating more leads.
In 2020 I started Charlene Jean Creative
I continued to educate myself in this ever-changing industry by enrolling in courses online, receiving training and coaching from industry experts, and studying as much as I could about social media marketing. By 2020, I had begun my own business as a social media manager and strategist.
Today I continue to advance my skills and keep up-to-date through industry experts, marketing communities and online courses.
I feel fortunate to work with amazing clients and help them grow and reach their business goals!

Charlene Jean Creative is a boutique, fully remote studio based out of beautiful British Columbia! While you might catch us working from various spots around the city, the heart of the work happens in our home office, where we are dedicated to helping businesses thrive online.

We are passionate about collaborating with small businesses based in British Columbia, especially in the beauty and wellness, women’s health, tourism, and hospitality sectors. But we’re also excited to partner with businesses from other industries across Canada and the West Coast. Our amazing client base even stretches all the way to Ontario!
